Bafana Bafana spent the night in Port Harcourt after a flight delay to Uyo

South Africa MNT, Bafana Bafana, was left stranded in Port Harcourt following a flight delay that caused their late arrival, preventing them from arriving in Uyo on Wednesday.

Bafana Bafana landed in Nigeria on Wednesday, but after passing through immigration at the Port Harcourt Airport, their chartered flight could not take off to Uyo as the airport had closed, forcing the 1996 AFCON champions to spend the night in Port Harcourt.
The tea’s Media Officer Romy Titus confirmed their itinerary afterwards: “The team is still not at base in Uyo, mostly due to the massive flight delay this morning.
Bafana Bafana have been on the road for 18 hours and still not at base in Nigeria. The team is currently at Port Harcourt Airport where they cleared customs, awaiting transfer to the hotel, to spend the night.
