Super Eagles defender Troost-Ekong is delighted with the victory over the Central African Republic in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers on Sunday.
Ekong set up one of the goals as the Super Eagles bounced back from an embarrassing loss to secure a 2-0 victory over the Wild Beasts Douala.
The victory means the Super Eagles avenged their shocking 1-0 defeat at home against the tiny Africans last Thursday.
“Revenge is a dish best served with 3 points. Congrats to my brother Leon Balogun on his first goal. And to our skipper, Ahmed Musa on his 100th cap” a delightful Ekong said after the game.
Nigeria now sits on top of the table with nine points from three-four matches and they will face Liberia next month in Ghana.
