Rivers captain Austin hopeful of coach Eguma’s freedom

Captain of Nigeria Professional Football League side Rivers united Festus Austin has stated that he believes the club’s head coach Stanley Eguma will be fine after been unreachable by the club during the team’s return from their last trip to Katsina united.

Austin speaking in a chat with brila.net after a news bulletin signed by Enugu State Police Force PRO ASP Daniel Ndukwe for Enugu State Police commissioner declaring Stanley Eguma missing said everyone knows the current situation of the country after confirming that the team bus left with the coach Stanley Eguma coming behind with his Hilux vehicle before getting out of sight around Enugu on their way to Port Harcourt.

“I can’t say anything for now but all we know is that we were trying to reach his number, it was not going. We do use our own bus while he uses his own Hilux. He was behind us towards Enugu that was where it happened. We know how the country is, we know he’s going to be fine. Maybe they need something but I don’t think any other way round, I just believe later they will call and demand money.”
