Paul Acquah scored the winner to hand the Nigerian Champions, Rivers United, a needed victory against Motema Pembe in their third game of the ongoing CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday.

The Pride of Rivers finished the game with ten players as captain Ebube Duru was shown a red card in the group B matchday 3 tie at the Estádio 11 de Novembro stadium in Talatona, Angola.

The LB was sent off after a second yellow card was shown, with only 3 minutes before half time break.

Haven lost their first away game in the Group to Diables Noirs, Rivers United were determined to get something out of the clash against Motema Pembe.
