Rivers United have revealed the five players signed in the mid season break to bolster the squad and help balance their domestic and continental campaigns.

In a chat with www.brila.net on Friday, United Head Coach Stanley Eguma disclosed that the club had no plans to make wholesome chances to the first team.

Eguma stated that he was focused on continuity, but expected to reinforce with only a few new additions to help create options as they fight on two fronts.

The Pride of Rivers raided several NPFL clubs and Nigeria National League side Ikorodu United.

Striker John Odumegwu joined from NPFL leaders, Plateau Utd while centre half, Semiu Liadi arrived at Port Harcourt from Akwa United.

Also, Ikorodu United‘s centre half Shedrack Francis was given another shot at top flight football, as he joins from the NNL.

United have lost grounds on the top sides, but despite falling short of expectations, Eguma insists they are not losing sight of the title race.
