Rivers United’s experienced goalkeeper Theophilus Afelokhai has stated that the Port Harcourt based side is keeping calm heads and wants to continue to increase their lead at the top of the Nigeria Professional Football League after gaining a point on closest challenger Plateau united who lost in a weekend that Rivers earned a draw away to Akwa united.
Afelokhai speaking in a chat with brila.net said Rivers united are well aware that two points isn’t a gap yet and not one that can be relied on, hence the joint resolution to continue to maintain their form and hard work in the quest to emerge as Champions of the Nigeria Professional Football League at the end of the 2021/2022 season.
