Goalkeeper Theophilus Affelokhai has stated that the massive offer from Rivers United made him decide to leave the People’s Elephant.
In an exclusive chat with brila.net, he revealed that not one player plying their trade in the Nigerian League can reject such an offer.
“I have been with Eyimba now for five seasons and Enyimba is a club that everyone wants to play in this country, in football, we all praying for progress because what Rivers united offered me is something I don’t think any player in this country right now, won’t accept, that’s every player’s prayer and dream if my deal to go out of the country is not yet in place and there is a way like this for me, I see no reason why I won’t go for it and accept the offer, “Affelokhai said.
