Rodgers Praises Ndidi And His Teammates After Bournemouth Victory

Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers has hailed Wilfred Ndidi and his teammates for doing enough to secure all three points against Bournemouth on Saturday.

The Foxes welcomed the Eddie Howe’s side to the King Power stadium for their fourth game of the 2019/2020 English premier league season and it was Jammie Vardy again who led the party on Rodgers’ 500th career game as a manager.

Super Eagles midfielder also Wilfred Ndidi returned from injury to take part in the entire duration of the game, while his compatriot Kelechi Iheanacho was left out of the team yet again.

“There’s a long long way to go. It’s been a very good start for us. They’ve been working hard – third game of the week.

“I’m so, so proud of them. They gave so much – against a very good side.

“We were worthy winners I felt. Rodgers said.

Leicester City will now travel to Manchester United for their fifth game of the domestic league on September 14.
