Former Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has stated that he is satisfied with the verdict from FIFA to have him paid about $378,000 for breach of contract by the Nigeria Football Federation.
Rohr told brila.net via a very concise message when contacted that he is satisfied with the ruling from FIFA and stressed that the whole thing isn’t about the money but about the contractual breach without a just cause.
He also expressed regret that it is so painful that he couldn’t get the opportunity of finishing and picking a world cup ticket with Nigeria having started the whole qualification campaign and gotten the team to the final phase of the qualifiers.
“I am very satisfied about FIFA’s decision.
The most important is not the money but the “Breach of contract without just cause.
But the worse is that we couldn’t go together to world cup !”
