Rohr shifts focus to next matches against Liberia and Cape Verde

Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr is already looking forward to the next international window after the Super Eagles defeated the Central African Republic on Sunday.

Gernot Rohr tutored side ended the October international window with a win and a defeat against the Central African Republic.

Speaking after Sunday’s win over the Raoul Savouy’s led Wild Beasts, Rohr said his side suffered a lot of tackles, but he hopes the boys can recover quickly.

The Franco-German tactician added that he’s already planning for the next games billed for November 2021.

“It is not easy to beat this CAR. We saw it. They made a lot of fouls. But fortunately, we don’t have any big injuries and now we can prepare for the next games in November and I hope everything will be fine at the end of the day,” he said.

The Super Eagles will travel to Ghana for the next World Cup qualifying clash against Liberia, and they will conclude the group phase campaign against Cape Verde in Lagos.
