“Ezenwa could be left out of the qualifiers as well if the league doesn’t return on time, but I believe he’s still part of Gernot Rohr’s plans.” He told

In the absence of the former Enyimba international and Katsina United goalkeeper, Rohr handed invitations to young goalkeepers Maduka Okoye, Dele Alampasu, and Matthew Yakubu for the game against Tunisia and Algeria, however, Ike insisted that Ezenwa is still in the mix and his experience is still needed in the squad.

“Ezenwa is the only experience goalkeeper in the squad at the moment and he understands African football as well, so he could be back once the league return,” Ike concluded.
