Wilfred Ndidi’s current Market value has been put at 77.4m Euro, making him Nigeria’s most valuable and the second highest in Africa – a long way behind Egypt’s Mohamed Salah.
The figures were published by CIES Football Observatory in their annual report on the market value of footballers from the five major European leagues.
Mohamed Salah is valued at twice the figure of Ndidi at 140.5m Euro and the Egyptian, who recently won the African Player of the Year award, is not just the continent’s highest valued but also the 12th in the world.
Ndidi comes in at 51st, globally, ahead of Sadio Mane (69 at 66.3m Euro) and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (72 at 64.7m Euro).
The Nigerian’s market value is also consider to be more than those of Toni Kroos, Thomas Lemar, Alexis Sanchez and even the most expensive defender in the world, Virgil Van Dijk.
