Fans on Social Media on Tuesday Night were left confused by Mohammed Salah’s reaction to Liverpool’s last-minute winner by Brazilian forward Roberto Firmino.
Roberto Firmino fired Jurgen Klopp’s men to a 3-2 victory against French champions Paris Saint-Germain in an Anfield thriller.
But it was Salah’s reaction to the winner which had social media users scratching their heads.
As television cameras panned round to Klopp celebrating, Salah was seen in the background slamming his water bottle down.
And Twitter was split on whether the Egyptian star was showing frustration or reacting with delight to Firmino’s winner.
One social media user wrote: “Seems Salah isn’t happy about Firmino scoring a last-minute winner.”
Another said: “Salah can’t seriously be annoyed with Firmino winning it for Liverpool?”
But another Twitter post read: “Mo Salah was throwing his arms up in the air as soon as Firmino scored and the camera rolled back onto Salah whenever he threw the bottle in celebration.”
Other shots of the celebrations also emerged where Salah had his arms up in the air before the bottle throw.
Salah endured a frustrating evening as he had a goal disallowed and gave the ball away cheaply for Kylian Mbappe’s equalizer in the 83rd minutes.
