Former Super Eagles defender Sam Sodje has stated confidently that the newly crowned most expensive player in Africa Victor Oshimen will be a success in Napoli.
Sodje made this known in a chat with brila.net noted that the moves he made all the way from France to Italy is a good move for him and hopes the Super eagles forward to settle down quickly at Naples.
”I think it is a good move for him, he’s well fit and he had a great season and I think he’s gone now for a big-money move that will make him live up to expectations,” Sodje told brila.
”I hope he gets his first goal very early because it will help him, but talking about being a success in Naples?
The former West Brom defender said Osimhen will score goals but it all depends on how quickly he will settle in Italy, and I’m sure they will let him settle, they will give him chance to be comfortable.”
”When it comes to his abilities – I think he will be successful and I am so happy for him, the Super Eagles, Nigeria, and Africa at large to have a player to go for such a big amount of money I think it’s great.
