Katsina United winger Samuel Kalu has described his debut for the club and his match-winning goal against Heartland FC as a proud moment.
Kalu announced himself with a last-minute winner in the 3 – 2 victory over Heartland, few minutes after coming off the bench at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium on Monday.
In chat with brila.net, the player said scoring the winner on his debut for Katsina United is something special and overall, he’s happy with the three points.
“I feel great scoring the winner for the team, and because the goal came on my debut for the team made it more special,” said the player.
“Although it wasn’t an easy match but I’m happy we got the needed win at the end. ”
Kalu joined Katsina United in the just concluded transfer window after parting ways with NNL side Sokoto United.
The fast powerful winger also had a brief spell with Wikki Tourists.
