Samuel Stone happy with his form at Jigawa Golden Stars

Samuel Stones said has explained the reason behind his decision to join Jigawa Golden Stars.

 

The young striker said playing time is the reason he signed for “Badaru Boys”on loan from four time NPFL champions Kano Pillars.

 

Since his arrival at the, Stone has netted nine times in the league and recorded three assists for the club.

 

Speaking on his form so far this season, Stone said, moving away from Kano Pillars has turned out to be blessing in disguise for him.

 

“I needed to move away from Kano, because i needed to play regularly,  i wasn’t having playing time at Kano Pillars, and was sent on loan to Jigawa Golden Stars,  and it has turned our to be a blessing for me”

 

The former Anambra state born striker also disclosed that, his aim is to score more goals and help the club beat the drop.

 

“I’ve scored 9 goals so far in the league for Jigawa Golden Stars, and am hoping to score more before the end of the season”, he told NPFL.TV.
