Odion Ighalo has been rewarded for his fine form for Al Hilal with a place Saudi Arabia Professional Football League Team of the Season.
The Best X1 of the 2022/23 season was unveiled by the Saudi League body on Wednesday, and there no place for Al Nassr mega star Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ighalo, however, was named among the best eleven players in just concluded season, after scoring 19 goals for Al Hilal.
Ighalo is the only player from the former league champions that made the list.
The 33-year-old who is also part of last season’s best XI has since left the team at the end of the season.
The former Manchester United star has received offers from other team in Saudi, but it’s unclear if he’ll remain in the middle East.
