Super Eagles’ and Bursaspor star Shehu Abdullahi has expressed his happiness after making a return to the pitch following a three-month injury layoff.
Abdullahi, who joined the Turkish side last January from Cyprus club, Anorthosis said be hopes to stay fit for the remainder of the season.
“I feel good and happy about it. It’s a moment I have waited for since last year and I’m happy I can now play football again.
“It was a good moment for me to come in for the last few minutes and I hope to now work my way back into the starting XI,” Abdullahi stated.
Abdullahi was a key player for Bursaspor last season after joining in the winter and helped the club to a 13th place finish last term.
