Former Nigeria Super Eagles goalkeeper, Ike Shorunmu had advised the Super Eagles to think more of their semi-finals opponent Algeria and not the final.
The former Besiktas goalkeeper told brila.net that the Rohr-led side should think about the Desert warriors now and not the title after Algeria were confirmed as the semifinal opponents on Thursday.
”The thing is that we are improving on a daily basis depending on the numbers of games played, we are making progress, we moved from quarter-finals and now to semi-finals.”
”We need to think of the next game we want to play at the semifinals now, continue to work hard until we clinched the trophy. ” Shorunmu said.
The Super Eagles are confirmed to play their 2018 world cup qualifiers group rivals Algeria, who happens to be one of the tournament’s favorites due to their form in the tournament.
