Sikiru Alimi scores for Stade Tunisien in 2-1 loss to US Tataouine

Former Lobi stars forward Sikiru Alimi was on target for his club Stade Tunisien in their Tunisian Ligue one clash with US Tataouine Wednesday.

Alimi scored his side’s only goal of the game in the second half, but it was not enough to earn them a point against their hosts.

The game ended 2 – 1 in the favor of the home side, but Alimi left a very huge impression at the Stade Nijjeh Khattab stadium.

Mohamed Ali Ben Abdessalem scored the opener for US Tataouine, before Haytham Mohamad converted a penalty to make it 2 – 0.

Alimi reduced the deficit for his side four minutes after the hour mark, but the host defended for their lives to see off the Stade Tunisien.

The defeat left Stade Munastir in 7th place on the table with 27 points from 19 matches.
