Junior Lokosa has completed a move to Tanzanian giants Simba FC.
Lokosa put pen to paper on a six-month deal, the club confirmed on Monday.
The deal is subject to a renewal based on the performance and impact of the player in the current season.
“Iron from Nigeria and a former Espérance player is already in Msimbazi and his deal has been finalized. The main goal is the semi-finals of the African Champions League with Mama’s goal being the Premier League and FA Cup,” reads a tweet on the club’s Twitter handle.
The 27-year-old, who joined as a free agent will pocket $5,000 monthly excluding bonuses, he will also get free accommodation and an official car according to reports.
Lokosa last played for Esperance where he won the CAF Champions League and the Tunisian Ligue Un crown.
The Nigeria International parted ways with the former African champions on July 30, 2020 following the expiration of his contract.
The Striker is expected to help the club achieve their CAF Champions semi-final target and retain their league crown.
