Simon Moses elated to help Nantes qualify for Coupe de France Final

Super Eagles star, Simon Moses is elated to helped Nantes reach the final of Coupe de France Final.

Moses Simon converted the last penalty kick to fire Nantes to the final after beating Monaco 4-2 on penalties on Wednesday.

The last time Nantes played in the final was 22 years ago and and there was a huge pitch invasion by the fans, after the Nigerian scored the decisive penalty.

It was an incredible achievement for Simon and his teammates who were second-bottom of Ligue 1 after the disastrous, and needed a play off to avoid relegation last season.

Reacting to the game, Simon took to his Twitter handle to celebrate the feat as he shared photos with the fans and his entire teammates.

“We achieved the great thing together ” he captioned the photos.

They’re currently 7th in Ligue one table and will face Nice in the final. Nice defeated fourth-tier side Versailles 2-0 on Tuesday, having knocked out holder Paris Saint-Germain and Marseille.
