Simon Moses puts in the Shift for Nantes after initial Injury Fears

Simon Moses returned to the FC Nantes starting XI on Saturday allaying fears he might have picked up a long term injury after he was substituted early in the Ligue Un game against Dijon, almost a fortnight ago.

Moses was replaced after 42 minutes and him registering his fifth league goal of the season in the eventual 3-3 draw.

Deployed in his favorite left flank and in an attacking role, the Nigerian pushed for his side’s climb up the table.

In 90 minutes, he registered a shot, completed a dribble and also put in the defensive shift, attempting two tackles and completing an interception.

Per whoscored.com Moses scored a 6.7 rating for his contribution to the overall team play and his individual stats.

However, the game ended as it started, neither able to break the deadlock as it ended goalless.

Nantes moved a place above Olympique Lyon, but only just, by a point and having played a game more.

The Canaries are also within distance of a European ticket for next season, with seven points separating them and third placed Rennes.
