The Nigeria Super Eagles overcame a stubborn Guinea-Bissau side to return to the top of Group A of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign.
The Peseiro-led side were stunned by the Djurtus in Abuja on Friday, but they bounced back in Bissau to secure a needed victory.
Fernabahce defender Bright Osayi-Samuel, won the spot kick mid way into the first half after showing bravery to drive forward, take on his marker, and draw the foul.
As such, Moses Simon took the responsibility and converted smartly, sending the goalkeeper the wrong way and making the away supporters jump into celebration.
