Simon’s Nantes start New Year with Victory against Auxerre

Moses Simon featured for FC Nantes as they began the new year with a vital win against AJ Auxerre at the Stade de la Beaujoire stadium on Sunday.

The Nigerian winger started the game and it was his 15th appearance for Antoine Kombouaré’s side this season.

Simon lasted for 64th minutes and made a positive impact before leaving the pitch for Marcus Coco, who eventually got the winning goal ten minutes later.

Meanwhile Simon is currently Nantes top scorer so far this season with five goals, and he also has three assists to his name.

The victory moves Nantes to 14th place on the table, with 17 points, 4 above AJ Auxerre in 18th place.
