Nigeria football legend Segun Odegbami says the performance of the Flying Eagles at the ongoing FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland is not just good enough and believes the team is far from what the country should have paraded at the tournament.
The Flying Eagles were finally sent parking from the tournament after another shambolic display that saw themgoing down 2-1 to their West African brothers Senegal on Monday night in Lodz.
Reacting to the overall performance of the seven time African Champions at the tournament, where they only won a game in four matches, The 1980 AFCON winner said the team put together by Paul Aigbogun wasn’t good enough and added that coaching was part of the team’s problems.
“Simply not good enough, not representative of our best, coaching was non-existent, and if those boys were all boys, I shall turn 21 this year!” He wrote on social media.
However, The Flying Eagles are expected to return to the country in the matter of days.
