If Leonid Slutsky was supposed to be the guy who offers Ahmed Musa an escape from a nightmarish contract at Leicester City, that possibility has evaporated.
Musa has been left out of Leicester’s first team in the PL this season.
The much anticipated reunion between Slutsky and Musa designated for Hull City now appears unlikely after the championship club announced, Sunday, it agreed to mutual terminate the Russian’s contract.
After only just six months in charge, Slutsky’s reign has seen the Tigers fall just three points above the drop zone after a run of two wins in 15 matches.
Meanwhile, Ola Aina who has been a regular this season since joining on loan from Chelsea will hope to also be in the plans of the next permanent manager.
