Wilfred Ndidi put in a proper 90 minutes shift for Leicester City on Tuesday in a premier League win against Tottenham Hotspur at the King Power Stadium.
First half goals from Jamie Vardy (13′) and Riyad Mahrez (45+1′) shot the Foxes ahead and into the break.
The stunning strikes by Leicester’s main players was complimented by Ndidi’s solid showing in the midfield.
20-year-old Ndidi threw himself at every challenge within reach of his lanky but sturdy frame.
However, the visitors managed to reduce the deficit with 11 minutes of regulation time to play through a Harry Kane strike.
Meanwhile, Spurs thought they also had a legitimate Penalty shout when Ndidi tackled Danny Rose inside the box, but Referee Andy Taylor saw nothing wrong with the challenge.
The victory moved Claude Puel’s men past the half way mark on the log while Spurs are now in fifth position and 13 points behind leaders Manchester City who, play on Wednesday.
