Special Eagles appeal for designated practice pitch in Lagos

Special Eagles players say they deserve respect from the Managers of Sports in the country as they once again appeal to be granted leave to use the Legacy pitch inside the National Stadium complex.

The Eagles currently carry out all its practice session on the sandy patch of playing ground besides the artificial surfaced turf of the Legacy pitch and say they should be allowed access to use the facility.

Speaking with brila.net Nigeria Amputee Football Federation players’ representative Goodluck Obieze said the sandy patch continuously poses major injury threats and damage to their playing types of equipment.

Obieze reiterated the need to commence practice on a playing surface that is nearest to that which would be available at the forthcoming African Cup of Nations in Angola, in order to put the players in good stead on what to expect.
