Israel Adesanya became the undisputed UFC Middleweight champion on Saturday following his second round knock out win over Robert Whittaker in the UFC 243.
Adesanya, who was flying the New Zealand Ensign celebrated the victory with his parents who had a front row view of the grueling slugfest.
After the 30 year-old was presented with the World Champion belt, he prostrated and presented it to both parents – dressed in an African attire – as they climbed into the octagon to share in the historic moment.
He got the blessings of his father as he laid down the belt and bowed, later to place it across his mum’s shoulder.
