Success’ goal drought for Udinese extended to 16 Games

Isaac Success continues to wait for his first Serie A goal of the season, after another poor show for Udinese against Empoli on Wednesday.

Success played the entire duration of the game which ended 1-1 at the Stadio Friuli.

Failure to score on the midweek game means the former Watford forward has now failed to score in any of the 16 games he played this season.

He also struggled in front of goal last season, managing two goals although he provided seven assists to help the club beat relegation.

Meanwhile, Tommaso Baldanzi put Empoli who also paraded Super Eagles defender Tyrone Ebuehi ahead inside the opening three minutes, before Ricardo Pereyra got the equalizer for Udinese in the 77th minute.

The draw leaves Udinese 8th on the table with 28 points, while Empoli remain 13th two points adrift their hosts.
