Ex international and Chairman of Nigeria National League club owners Abdul Sule has stated that the Nigeria National League is set to adopt the no promotion no relegation format.
Sule speaking in a chat with brila.net said all is well between the NNL and the NFF and that all the NNL want from the NFF is to be carried along.
He thereafter posited that all seems to be okay at this point as the nation’s second-tier league is set to adopt the no promotion no relegation format.
“There was a voting process and through that voting, we got 13 against 12 which is the no promotion group. Of course, there has been one or two things the NNL wants from the NFF.
We want the NFF to carry us along it’s not that the NNL is having trouble with the NFF no. So with this meeting at least the house is okay now. We know that we stand with the rule of the NFF no relegation no promotion for now.”
