The Super Eagles and Croatia’s clash on Saturday at the Kaliningrad Stadium in the first international meeting between the sides.
Although Croatia are overwhelming favorites on paper, playing as a unit and “putting our strong foot forward” for the entire duration of the game will certainly guarantee Nigeria’s success, Baruwa told Brila.net .
“I feel they are ready for the World Cup. Importantly, We need to play as a unit because I also believe this team is balanced.
“It is true that there isn’t much experience in our team because the buck of the players are young, but this team can get, even, as far as the quarter-final. We need to win the first game though. What ever happens afterwards is just a Bonus.”
