The Super Eagles of Nigeria are back in the country, after their elimination from the 2021 African Cup of Nations.
The team traveled via chattered flight and arrived in the Federal Capital Territory Abuja on Tuesday morning.
The Super Eagles were eliminated from the tournament in the round of 16, after losing 1-0 to depleted Carthage Eagles of Tunisia on Sunday.
After a goalless first forty-five minutes, Tunisian broke the deadlock early in the second half with a strike from Youssef Msakni.
They also finished the game with ten men, when Alex Iwobi was shown a straight red card.
It was a disappointing ending for three-time African champions who were tipped to reach the final.
