Super Eagles Captain Ahmed Musa Celebrates Nigeria at 60

Super Eagles Captain Ahmed Musa has sent heartwarming messages to Nigerians as they mark the 60th independence anniversary.

 

Musa who currently plies his trade with Saudi Arabia premier league side AL Nassr joined his compatriots to celebrate the most important day in the history of the country.

 

Musa said it’s a privilege for him to serve the country and prayed the country continues to move from strength to strength.

 

“My beloved country Nigeria is @60 🎊🎊🎊. Proud to be a citizen and privileged to be able to serve especially through the game of football.

” Praying that this new year brings about great changes and peace in the land. Wishing everyone a happy Independence Day 🇳🇬🦅🙏 ” he posted on Twitter.

 

Musa has represented Nigeria at the FIFA U-20 World Cup, FIFA senior World Cup and the African Cup of Nations.

 

The 27-year-old remains Nigeria’s highest goal scorer in the history of FIFA World Cup with four goals and he was part of the team that won Nigeria’s third African Cup of Nations title in South Africa back in 2013.
