Nigeria’s progress in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers is a tune worth humming, and the 2019 Afcon qualifiers can be just as smooth if the Super Eagles keep improving on team chemistry Head Coach, Salisu Yusuf has suggested.

Nigeria top Group B of the CAF 2018 world cup third round qualifiers, with maximum points from two games against Zambia and Algeria.

Subsequently, the team will get its 2019 Afcon qualifying campaign underway in June, with a 1st-leg home match against South Africa at the Akwa Ibom International Stadium.

Speaking with www.brila.net , Salisu expressed his excitement with the quality in the team.

However, he warned against the players becoming complacent ahead of the June 9 encounter against South Africa and the double header against African Champions, Cameroon.
