Super Eagles striker Umar Sadiq is a transfer target for Spanish topflight division outfits Villareal.
Umar is currently contracted to newly crowned Segunda B Champions UD Almeria, but it doesn’t stop interest from the Yellow Submarine side, according to reports.
Umar became a target for the Unai Emery’s side following his fantastic campaign for the Rojiblancos last season, where he notched 19 goals and 9 assists in all competitions.
The 25-year-old has also been linked with Newcastle United, Sevilla, and Bayern Munich in the past.
Umar signed for Almeria from Partizan Belgrade in a €12.3m deal and his consistent performance saw his market value skyrocket to £30m.
Although Almeria made it clear, that they aren’t ready to let go of the striker but could be tempted, if any team comes forward with his valuation.
