Super Eagles hungry for success, says Iwobi

Alex Iwobi says the Super Eagles won’t rest on their oars, after the impressive start to the 33rd African Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

The Super Eagles began their quest for the fourth African title with an impressive victory over Egypt on Tuesday and a win over their opponents, Sudan would guarantee them a place in the next round.

Speaking ahead of the Saturday’s encounter at the Roumde Adjia Stadium in Garoua, Iwobi stated that team, is ready to fight for the Green and White color of Nigeria.

“We already make our mark in the first game, and we can’t be complacent. We going to show the desire again and hopefully get the result that we wanted.”

Iwobi who plays for Everton FC of England was a second half substitute against Egypt. He will be hoping to make his first start in the tournament later this evening.
