Super Eagles and Barcelona star Emmanuel Amunike has stated that his team will fight hard to secure a place at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
Amunike told Brila FM’s Femi Raji during his popular Breakfast show, Sports Machine that he is hopeful of doing the hard work to secure the ticket to Cameroon.
The former winger also said it will be interesting for the Tafia stars to face the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the Nations Cup if both teams secure qualification.
“We have a good team, but what we needed is to push through our abilities. We managed it at home, we created chances and scored.
“We will fight to see the chance to win the last two games so that we can qualify.”
Tanzania’s next 2019 AFCON qualifying game is against Lesotho on November 18 in Maseru before rounding off their campaign with a home fixture against the Cranes of Uganda on March 22nd, 2019.
