Super Eagles and CD Nacional Midfielder Ibrahim Alhassan has sent a message of support to his International teammate and Benfica’s injured defender Tyronne Ebuehi.
The former Akwa United’s Midfielder who spoke exclusively to www.brila.net’s Tony Bekederemo via Players Scorecard on Wednesday Morning expressed his delight after making his debut in Portugal.
Ibrahim, who chose newly promoted CD Nacional ahead of city rivals Maritimo, played the entire duration of this Portuguese Cup for his debut and he won the Man Of the Match Award.
The 21-year-old player, however, hailed his teammates for the overall team performance which saw Nacional overcome Boavista on the day.
While answering questions on the relationship with other Super Eagles players in Portugal, Muazzam seized the opportunity to rally support to injured Super Eagles defender, Tyronne Ebuehi.
Ebuehi suffered a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament of the left knee and will undergo surgical intervention in the next few days.”
The defender faces up to a year out after his surgery and his promising career will now hinge on how he bounces back from this horrible ordeal.
