Leicester City forward Ademola Lookman is extremely happy to make his debut for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The attacker who recently completed his switch from England made his bow in Super Eagles’ World Cup qualifying playoff against Black Stars of Ghana on Friday.
Lookman came on as a second half for Moses Simon as Super Eagles held Black Stars to a goalless draw at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium lat Friday.
Reacting to his debut, the Leicester City forward said, opportunity to represent the West African giants means alot to him.
“Extremely proud and grateful to have made my Super Eagles debut. Thank you God for the opportunity, it means everything to put on the shirt and represent my country.”
The London born forward added that he’slooking forward to his home debut come Tuesday.
“See you on Tuesday. We need your support” He said.
Lookman is expected to be in action when the Super Eagles play host to Black Stars at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
