The Super Eagles and Torino’s defender Ola Aina has suffered another injury and could be on the sidelines for a few weeks.
Aina recently returned from almost three month lay off in January, but reports from Italy suggest the Nigerian international suffered a lesion on his left soleus.
According to the Napoli Magazine, the 26-year-old fullback could miss at least three weeks of action.
Following the injury, the former Chelsea and Fulham full back is out of Torino’s game against Sassuolo, Roma, and Salernitana.
He also missed Super Eagles 2023 Africa Cup of Nations double-header against Guinea-Bissau.
He has played 16 games for Torino this season, scoring once, with one assist to his name.
