Nigerian striker, Anthony Okpotu was on target for his Tunisian side, US Monastir as they were 3-nil winners against JS Kairouanin the Tunisian Ligue Professionnelle 1 on Saturday.
Okpotu started in front for the Lassaad Chabbi’s side as they maintained their first position in the Tunisian Topflight.
However, he netted his team second goal in the 57th minute with efforts from Zied Machmoum and Yassine Amri ensured emphatic victory for the table-toppers.
The striker has netted four goals after eight games for the Stade Mustapha Ben Jannet outfit this season and he will be looking to increase his tally when they visit Tataouine next weekend.
Okpotu was part of the Home-Based Super Eagles team who won silver at the African Nations Championship in Morocco
