Former Captain Austin Okocha said the Super Eagles have given themselves a very good chance to qualify for the FIFA World Cup.
The Super Eagles secured a hard fought scoreless draw with Ghana at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Friday.
The result means, the Eagles is a victory away from qualifying for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Speaking on the game in Kumasi, Okocha, said, Super Eagles will get the job done at home come Tuesday.
“We were totally dominated in terms of the support. I think we have given ourselves a good chance going into the second leg.”
“I think if we can’t win the second leg in Abuja, then we don’t have a reason to be at the World Cup,” he added.
“I don’t think there’s a better advantage than to win and qualify for the World Cup in front of the home fans.”
The Super Eagles will host the second leg at the Moshood Abiola Stadium Abuja on Tuesday.
