Super Eagles winger Henry Onyekuru has stated that the team will play their hearts out for Gernot Rohr and the Nation against Libya in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches.
Onyekuru said the Eagles understand what the Coach expects of them over two legs of the qualifiers against the Mediterranean Knights and believes they will give nothing less.
Nigeria hosts Libya in the first-leg of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations this weekend and three days later face the North Africans in Tunisia, as the Eagles bid to end their AFCON hiatus.
The attacker was quoted on the Super Eagles official twitter handle ahead of this weekend’s match.
Onyekuru said,” We know what the Coach wants from us; which is to give our very best against Libya, that is exactly what we intend to do in both games.
“We will work very hard to win and make our Nation proud,” the player said.
