Super Eagles World Cup team almost complete

Ex Nigeria defender Ifeanyi Udeze believes Super Eagles Technical Adviser Gernot Rohr already knows his team for the 2018 world cup.

Rohr will select 23 players for the final tournament in Russia and Udeze insists the German tactician already has a good idea which names will make the cut.

Through the six qualifying matches he took charge of, Rohr invited 40 players in total at different times.

Speaking on Brila FM, Udeze who had a world cup appearance in 2002 with the Super Eagles, maintains that there may be room for just five more players in the plans of the Coach.

‘Right now although we can’t say the team is a finished article, I want to believe the Coach already knows his players and which players will make the final cut.

‘At this point with six months to the world cup I would think he might only have room for three or even five new faces or not so regular players. Otherwise, Rohr knows his team already.’
