Coupled with the array of Nollywood A-listers backing the Super Falcons ahead of their World Cup campaign in France next month, the team will add another high profile name.
Thomas Dennerby’s team will not be short of support in France and can count on his Swedish compatriot and Head Coach of Eskilstuna United DFF, Magnus Carlsson, to cheer the 9-time African champions on.
Carlsson, who has two Nigerians in his team, was pictured wearing the African team’s colors in a celebratory pose, and he joins a A-list fan base that already includes Tonto Dike, Dakore Egbusan Akande, Tiwa Savage to mention a few.
Okobi tweeted the picture of Carlsson on Saturday with the caption:

Eskilstuna have midfielders Ngozi Okobi-Okeoghene and Halimatu Ayinde, both of whom were named by Thomas Dennerby in the 23 players for the World Cup.
Nigeria will open their World Cup group action against Norway on June 8 at the Stade Auguste-Delaune, Reims.
