Captain Asisat Oshoala says the Super Falcons are focused on qualifying the country for the 2022 African Women’s Championship.
The Barcelona Femino star will lead her compatriots out against the Black Queens of Ghana for the first leg African Women’s Championship qualifiers this Wednesday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena.
Speaking ahead of the mouthwatering encounter, Oshoala said the team has prepared well and they are to go.
“Ghana’s game, big one, one of the best side’s in Africa. We are just focused on our team. We had a training camp in Austria and also played in the Aisha Buhari Cup,” stated Oshoala.
“We have prepared well It’s going to be a tough one. It’s not going to be easy but we are focused on the game. At the end of the day, we will qualify.” she said.
The second leg will hold in Accra Ghana on Sunday and the overall winner will qualify for the championship scheduled to hold in Morocco.
