Nigerian forward Esther Okoronkwo says she’s happy with progress the Super Falcons have made in the last couple of months.
Okoronkwo was one of the goal scorers as the Falcons ended a seven-game losing streak, with a win over Costa Rica two months ago.
Randy Waldrum’s side, on Friday, recorded another win, this time they beat Haiti 2-1 in Antalya.
“It feel happy to score against Haiti, but I must say, it’s a team work and I give it to the coach. It was important to show what we can do after seven streak loss. And we played well,” Okoronkwo told NFF TV.
The Falcons will slug it out with the Football Ferns later today in their second game exhibition game.
The forward said the team is ready.
“We are ready, we have to play like we did. We gave to play together as a team, and when you do that, the sky is the limit.
“We have great players, but individual performance aren’t going to win you games. We have to play together,” She concluded.
