Super Eagles striker Taiwo Awoniyi grabbed another league goal for Union Berlin against VfB Stuttgart in Sunday’s Bundesliga game at the Mercedes-Benz Arena.
Awoniyi who was on target in the UEFA Conference League game against Feyenoord last Thursday scored on the 30th minute to earn his a point from the game.
He has now netted seven goals in nine appearances this season and also has two assists to his name.
Awoniyi was later substituted in the 74th minute and replaced Kevin Behrens.
Union Berlin were few minutes away from securing the points, before substitute, Wahid Faghir netted the equaliser for VfB Stuttgart on the 92nd minute.
Union Berlin, however, remains 5th on the league table on 16 points from 9 matches.
Union Berlin will take on SV Waldhorf in the DFB Pokal Cup on Wednesday.
